Just wanted to keep you updated on Brady. He is such a wonderful addition to our family, we all love him soo much!
The good news is at his vet visit last week he had gained 8lbs. So he is now a healthier 110.4lbs (although we know he has quite a few more pounds to go). We notice that his hair is starting to grow out a little more and he is filling out nicely. Thanks for the tip on the dog undercoat brush, we do that regularly and it really makes a big difference.
We take him on regular walks, along with running and walks around our property. He had a great time playing with my brother's dog over Christmas and has gone to the dog park two times and had a great experience. We have been working with him on leash walking, he has gotten down the "no pulling" (of coarse except when he sees a cat!). He had made such progress we decided today would be his first dog beach day. He loved it! We have noticed that all the dogs and people just love him and his wonderful personality really stands out. : )
We have gone to one dog training class, but he is so ahead because of the extra training at home and his ease with wanting to please, we are certain he will progress without a problem.
I want to thank you again for all your help with the rescue dogs and especially what you have done for Brady.
